Samsun cymbals are handcrafted in Turkey from B20 bronze. Samsun was founded 20 years ago by Mustafa Diril, who learned the art of cymbal making in the original Istanbul factory. Mustafa was also part of the Diril foundry that made the "Twenty" series for Paiste and the "Byzance" range for Meinl. Samson cymbals are made using a blend of traditional and modern handcrafting techniques.
