Terms & Conditions
Making a purchase & ordering goods
1. If you make a purchase but want to cancel your order before we dispatch it you are free to do so.
2. We can also decline to supply a product to you at any point before its dispatch. If you have already paid for it we will refunded you in full.
3. Once a product is dispatched a contract is made between us.
4. You must have an email address to purchase from us and you agree that email can be used as a means of communication.
5. After purchasing from us we will send your receipt and confirm your dispatch date and tracking details via email. You must check that all the details in these emails are correct.
6. It is your responsibility to ensure you are able to receive emails from Cymbal Junkie. We recommend you add “info@cymbaljunkie.com" to your safe sender list and make sure your email software doesn’t block emails from us.
7. You undertake that all details you provide us for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that any credit cards, debit cards, Paypal accounts or bank accounts you use are your own, and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods ordered. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.
Processing orders & delivery
8. We debit credit cards, debit cards, Paypal accounts and bank accounts on the day the order is placed. All prices include taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated.
9. Goods will be sent to the address given to us by you in your order.
10. We aim to dispatch all items in the timescale stated (see our Postage & Shipping page for current details). However, during very busy periods we may occasionally not be able to dispatch goods until the working day after the one stated. In the unlikely event that this occurs we will notify you of the delay.
11. We only use reputable couriers that we have found to be reliable and we book these services in good faith. However, we are not responsible for any delays in delivery times that may occur once the goods are in the hands of the courier.
VAT, duty & import charges
12. If you are buying fron outside the UK your goods may be subject to import VAT, duty charges and customs clearance fees. These charges are applied by your country and we have no control over them. All such VAT, duty and customs clearance fees must be paid by you, unless you elect to have us pay them for you (as detailed in the "import VAT/duty fees" section of our Postage & Shipping page).
Returns
13. You may return goods for any reason up to 14 days after the day you received them (new items) and up to 7 days after the date you received them (pre-loved items). You must request a return within this period either by emailing or phoning us quoting your name, address and the item ordered. You then have a further 14 days to get the goods back to us (new items) and a further 7 days to get the goods back to us (pre-loved items). Full details can be seen on our Returns page
14. The return postage or shipping is payable by you.
15. All return items must be sent back to us in the original box with all the original internal packaging in place.
16. Goods must be returned to us in the same condition they were sent, showing no signs of use or abuse. They must also not have been cleaned with any professional or household cleaning products, or have been altered or modified in any way.
17. You are resposnible for the safe arrival of any items you return. We strongly suggest using a good courier and sending the item via a tracked and fully insured service. Please note that some despite the fact that they will sell it to you some courier's insurance does not include musical instruments, or has many exclusions and value limitations. Please check the small print details before paying for insurance with a courier.
18. If you are returning items from outside the UK any VAT, duty or customs clearance charges we have to pay to receive the goods will be deducted from you refund amount.
Damaged, defective or incorrectly sent items
19. If any items arrive to you damaged or defective, or are not the item that you ordered we shall replace the goods where possible, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods.
Warranties
20. All new cymbals come with a manufacturer's warranty. Pre-loved cymbals do not come with a warranty unless otherwise stated on the listing. You can see the full details of all manufacturer's warranties on our Warranties page.
Liability
21. Cymbal Junkie does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods and products at any time. However, we will do our best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as possible after being notified of them.
22. The products sold on this website are not for re-sale or distribution. We do not accept liability for any loses whatsoever (either direct or third party) that arise out of the use of this website, or for any products purchased from us that are not used in accordance with these terms and conditions.
