About our sound files

All the sound files (and pictures) on our website show the actual cymbal for sale. We never use manufacturer's demos, generic recordings, or the sound file of an identical cymbal we've previously had in stock. So the cymbal you see and hear is always the exact cymbal you'll receive.

We don't use EQ, compression, filters, plug-ins, or sound processing of any kind in our recordings. We want our sound files to be as close as possible to you playing the cymbals yourself, so we don't add or take anything away from the raw acoustic recording. This allows you to hear the real live sound of every cymbal.

If you're shopping for multiple cymbals and want to make sure they sound right together we offer a custom sound file service. Listen to our sound files to choose the cymbals you like, then CONTACT US and we'll make a recording just for you of the cymbals you're considering played together as a set.
